ちょっと前ならHypertextかWWWかCIKMあたりで発表されてたであろう研究のうち、それなりの割合がWSDMに行ってそう。バックにGYM(Google, Yahoo!, Microsoft)がついてるようなもんだからそりゃ強いよなあ

どの学会も時間が経つに従って参加者の関心が分散し多様化していって、そこから特定の関心を持つ人たちがスピンアウトして、っていうのを繰り返していて、そういうライフサイクルの中でWSDMはいま一番面白いというか旬な時期なんだろうな
ざっと見た感じtwitter,もしくはそれに付随するマイクロブログの研究ネタが非常に多い.特にtwitterユーザ全体の傾向を分析した論文から,徐々に社会動向などのマクロな動向とtwitterのpostの関連性だったりを探る論文が増えているように思える.そういうのは少なめに選んだのが以下のリスト.IRというよりUser behavior多め,

Click Noise気になる.クリックログ系の論文はこれまで読んだ限りだと,超大量のクリックログを集めてノイズを押しつぶし,ある程度有用かつ頻度が高くないものを提示する研究がメインだったので,ではNoiseをどう考えたのか,という点が興味深い.
AuralistはLast.fmの人かと思ったがそうでもないようだし,これも気になる.
